Hi,
My Name is Pam Hineman and I have been operating the franchise “Momentoes Dayton LLC” for the last five years. I am located in Tipp City, Ohio just north of Dayton.
Let me share my story of how Momentoes Dayton came to be…I received a phone call at 2 a.m one November morning from my daughter announcing that she has gone into labor, 4 weeks early! She and her husband live in Lake Oswego, Oregon and it was a mad rush to unexpectedly plan a trip on very short notice. Amazingly enough… we made it there for his birth.
We spent the following week helping out while our grandson Jackson was in NICU. I wanted to find a special outfit for him to wear home from the hospital on his big day. I was shopping in a children’s boutique and saw a Momentoes display hung on the wall. The tiny three dimensional feet had remarkable detail and were beautifully presented. I had never seen anything like it. One look and I was hooked. I called and made arrangements to have Jackson’s feet cast for my daughter and her husband as well as having his hands cast for me.
I was so impressed with the quality and uniqueness of the product that I began thinking about pursuing the business opportunity. I was considering retiring from GE at the time and wanted a creative outlet. This seemed to be a perfect fit. I liked the idea of working for myself but even more than that, I was so excited about the possibility of being able to create something special for parents and family members.
I am very proud of our product and love being able to offer this type of keepsake to parents. The castings are little pieces of art that you can be handed down through generations.
